On Monday, Liftra headquarters hosted Lars Chr. Lilleholt, the Danish Minister of Energy, Utilities and Climate. The Minister was accompanied Liftra CEO Per Fenger for a quick tour of the premises, before they sat down to discuss wind energy. Topics included Liftra’s prospects as a Danish export company and the big picture of Denmark’s position as a leading supplier of sustainable energy technologies.
Said Mr. Lilleholt of Liftra’s role in the wind industry, “It is one of the leading companies in the field, very high-tech. I am glad that projects here have received support from EUDP to help further develop the business and generate Danish jobs.”
In addition to EUDP, Liftra has received development funding from Horizon 2020 and the Market Development Fund. These funds further secure and maintain Liftra’s position as a global market leader in specialized lifting and transportation equipment for the global wind turbine industry.
Projects supported by the Market Development Fund include the Self-Hoisting Crane and Blade Way.
