The Market Development Fund (MMF), a body of the Danish Business Authority, has awarded Liftra with a development grant for the Blade Way.
MMF is a body of the Danish Business Authority that supports innovative projects with real commercial potential. Blade Way was identified as one of the most promising projects among a field of close to 100 applicants.
Liftra CEO Per Fenger says of the support from MMF, “This grant from the Market Development Fund makes a big difference for us as we get our newest craneless technology ready for market.”
Blade Way is a solution for replacing single blades and pitch bearings without using large conventional cranes. It addresses a lot of current problems in the industry for blade maintenance in hard-to-access areas, where large cranes can be difficult to transport and assemble.
